High Alpine Condo 207 in Gatlinburg TN

This is an actual video walk through of High Alpine Condo 207, a 2 bedroom Condo in Gatlinburg,Tennessee. The only changes made to the film are to remove the sound of footsteps, add a nice tune to listen to while viewing, occasionally to put parts together and adding credits. We hope it will give you more information than can be gathered from still pictures and answer questions about the floor plan, amenities, and parking. Tennessee Cabin View

This video shows you the view we had from our Cabin rental from Sugar Maple Cabins in Tennessee. The first two pictures are from when we were checking in, I was standing outside and took a picture of the sign and the driveway up into the moutains to our cabin. You couldn’t see our cabin from there because it was to high up in the mountains. They have cabins scattered all around the mountains in that area. Then I stood on the front deck of the cabin and filmed the one morning we had some rain and how the steam would raise up from the mountains. It would form and then disappear and was fasinating to watch. Then you see the next morning from the same point I filmed the first segment.

Is it legal for a landlord to do construction without a notice?

For the past 4 months, our new landlord, has been coming up unnannounced, and doing construction on a upstairs apartment. My girlfriend and I work crazy shifts, and here lately have had no sleep because of this. If that is not bad enough, the landlord has been tearing up carpet and the wood floor upstairs, and it has caused all of our pictures, our tv, and white dust from the drop ceiling to fall down and everything is covered in the ceiling dust. I recently had to go to the hospital for bronchitis and I think it is from this white dust that I have to clean up all the time from this construction mess. Now we have asked the landlord to please give us notice of the construction, but she doesn’t care. It is annoying and makes me hate the home I used to love. We pay 800 a month for a small private 1 bedroom apartment, And I can’t even breathe in my apartment half the time with out being hooked up to a breathing treatment machine or inhaler. Someone please help and tell me what I need to do, or if i’m being too whiny about this. Gatlinburg, Tn

Camping for the Fireflies in Elkmont, Tn…which site is best?

Last year my Husband and I went to Gatlinburg on our Honeymoon. We were lucky enough to hear about the Fireflies at Elkmont, and we jumped on the opportunity and went. We want to reserve a camping site at the Elkmont Campgrounds for our Honeymoon so that we can enjoy the fireflies and the Great Smokies from the ground instead of a cabin.

We want to be as close to the action as possible. Which campsite/ location # should we choose?

I know these campsites fill up fast, but we want to get a spot in advance, even if it is for June of 2011 instead of next June. Any help would be appreciated!

I found this campsite map on the NPS website. It may help, for someone who camps to be able to point out a particular loop or number!
